All Christians are commanded to spread the gospel. How do you?
Mark 16:15 says, “And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.”
I have done mission trips, I have a blog, and I share the gospel on my social media accounts. However, the most intimate and effective way I create disciples is through personal one-on-one conversations.
The gospel is the account of Jesus’ sacrifice to save us from God’s wrath for our sins. Details of Jesus’ ministry and death can be found in the books Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John of the Bible. We share this good news in order to encourage others to “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” (Matthew 3:2)
There are many opportunities for sharing God’s Word. Originally the Disciples traveled to different lands and preached the gospel. This can still be done as mission trips. If you can’t physically go, however, that’s okay. There are many other ways to spread the gospel.
Other Ways to Spread the Gospel
- Share the gospel with those closest to you
- Hold an open Bible study in your town
- Pray for others with them
- Share on social media
